Do it NOW

Make the promise to yourself to do it now. Commit to now. Our future is determined by our lives, NOW! If we are living our largest and best life now we are laying the foundation to live life on our own terms later! Break the mold, aim high and enjoy the process!!

In life, what we will end up regretting most are the things we never did and never tried.-Jeff Moore

  1. For me the concept of ‘later’ applied to whenever I needed to work out. Now I just say, “Do it now and later you’ll be happy you did!” Later always comes into play, but it is up to us to determine if we feel good about the decisions we make now and ultimately will reflect on later.

  3. “sometimes ‘later’ becomes a ‘never'”
rather regularly not just ‘sometimes’, cause it’s not a happenstance that the LATER is more luring to do smthng than the NOW

“Make the promise to yourself to do it now.”
i prefer to understand why i think that a LATER is a better choice to do than the NOW
therefore i think that promisses are a form of violence against oneself
it’s a longer way to understand oneself but i think we have not much more to do here than that, so why not now ?

    “Commit to now.”
    COMMIT here sounds like SURRENDER
there is just one way of doing things & we humans call it NOW, we cannot act in later & we cannot act in earlier
even in a later we have to do it now, there is no escape from the now, the now is the only space in which we can act at all
so, there is not a single argument to being in need to commit to the now
but there are surely arguments to not being willing to act right here & right now

“Our future is determined by our lives, NOW!”
besides of few lesser remarks i can say wholeheartedly that i agree on that absolutely 😀 ❤

"If we are living our largest and best life now we are laying the foundation to live life on our own terms later! "
unfortunartely it can lead also to exhaustion
at least if we live our best life now we enter the future without regrets & without remorse & that's a clean future, which proved to me to be a very good life
but io to live on our own terms later it's not sufficient to live now our largest & best life, unfortunately that's not enough & the formula is not that simple

"Break the mold, aim high and enjoy the process!!"
one needs a lot of courage & strength to do it, but i encourage everyone to do that too
& there is no life worth being lived without the joy right now 😀 ❤

    i don't aggree with that
regret is a much more complicated matter than it could be removed by just doing it now
but of course if one hesitates just because of lack of courage, well …

    • Sometimes we make things more complicated than they need to be. The decision is simple but the process and journey is where it gets interesting!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

This seems to be the theme for me today. Tweeted earlier it’s alright to dream but you must act on that dream.

  5. So hard sometimes not to put off things, especially “chores”… But doing the things to get ahead, to become better people, absolutely:
DO IT NOW! thanks for the cheering us on!

  6. Now is truly the only time we have. But it’s not always about doing things now, since busyness can be just another method of avoidance. *Being*in the now allows us to come home to ourselves and experience real peace.
Love the energy and positivity of your blog, BTW! 🙂

  7. For me, promising myself I’m going to do something, it’s sort of like that last step that excuses me from putting off doing something.
So I just take action. Once I am immersed in the activity, it’s too late for excuses or broken promises. Even if it means I have to figure out things on the fly, at least I’m engaging in what I need to be doing.
