Don’t wake up to an alarm, wake up with a purpose!

Happy Tuesday All!!

Did you have trouble getting out of the bed this morning? Do you ever ask yourself: Why do I HAVE  to go to work? Or class? The truth is, everybody has these questions at some point, as we lay in our bed or while we struggle to brush our teeth! Every morning we are asking ourselves questions, why not take control and ask empowering ones! Make sense right? Let’s put it into action.

Trying setting your ‘gratitude clock’, since we are thankful to wake up everyday – 15 minutes earlier than your normal time. Use those 15 minutes to think, and even better write, how you will have a positive and meaningful impact today. Whether you’re going to work, class or even taking the day off, what can you do to make a real contribution. Could it be giving tips to a stressed out colleague? Could it be helping out a classmate? Could it be tackling a problem your coworkers and/or friends are struggling with? Could it be calling a friend or a relative to remind them how much they mean to you? There are endless things to do, but the POWER is produced when you choose one and go for it. This will wake you up without coffee and jump start your day. Don’t believe me, try it out for yourself!!

  1. Thanks for this! I can definitely relate on Tuesday and Thursday mornings trying to get up for Anthropology!

  2. I have not used an alarm clock in years. I wake up in the morning and the first thing I want to do is go to the computer to work on my business. However, sometimes I get stuck in a rut. If I think about my goals, it helps me to stay motivated and willing to make the changes necessary for success.
