What if Money was No Object?

Let me start off and say that yes, money is an object! And I do believe money matters and I believe we should all strive to be financially independent. I also believe in balance.

So…what if money was no object? What if it didn’t matter? Get lost in that thought for a moment.

I believe, that what you enjoy doing should be how you make your living. That is where East meets West. Do what you love to do, then teach others how to do it for a fee. Sounds simple, huh?

When money is our focal point, all we do is focus on getting more. When the average person earns more, they spend more. And then, when they earn even more they spend even more! A constant chase.

On the other hand, when a person follows their heart, their passion, like the people who have lived at the highest of ranks – they have earned substantial wealth. Not from chasing money, but from increasing their value by providing a high quality, passion driven service. Steve Job’s goal was not to get rich – that was a byproduct of him fulfilling his dream. His dream was to create a company and a product that would revolutionize how people enjoyed their lives. And in turn he earned so much money, that oddly enough, it was no object…

We can have anything we want in life, if we just help enough people get what they want!” –Zig Ziglar

  1. Good Job my man. Very well written and great points. Would like to add to your point, having money and having lots of wealth does not guarentee happiness. Balance is key in all aspects of life, including earning money and making a living. For those looking for more happiness in what you do and in your life, you should follow a few rules. 1. Do not live beyond your means, (If you are out shopping and when you are about to buy something and you have to ask yourself, I want that bag or Jacket but I cant afford it now), do not put that on credit card and pay for it later, because your will utlimately PAY FOR IT LATER. 2. Work to live do not live to work, You have one life in this world and when you die you cant tell god “can i do it again?” or redo your life differenty. Make your money and spend it wisely. Enjoy your wealth because you cant take your millions to heavan… otherwise we would be in the same shoes up there as we are down here. No such thing as broke people in heavan.

FINALLY Jeff Moore you are the man. Keep up your good work and keep inspiring those that need inspiration. God Bless!

  2. Joey great response! I agree with the money management and the working to live tips! And we definitely cannot ask God, for a redo!!! We only get one shot so lets do it right! We ALL need inspiration and empowering brain food for us to live at a high level!! Thank you for sharing!

  3. Great thoughts, but balance is the key. There is a dark side to it all. When there is gross corruption I strongly believe the key is to “follow the money.” It always takes you to the door of the person behind the evil.

  4. Fantastic post! Like the portion about making a living by increasing their value providing a high quality, passion driven service… Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  5. I love to think about what I’d be doing if I didn’t have to worry about money; it is so freeing!
Nice post. And thanks for following my blog!

  6. If only one didn’t have to worry about money life would be so much easier. I do agree that if you love what you do for a living, life will seem so much better and going to work will not be a chore. I do know firsthand that money cannot get you the one thing you need most in life, your health. You can have all the money in the world and if you get sick, you are in the same boat as everyone else in the world. I like your blog, thank you for following mine!
